SaaSiest Community Member of the Week – Kate Sygrove 🩷

This week’s member of the week is Kate Sygrove, Director of Customer Success and Support at Mouseflow. Kate has been bringing her SaaSy energy to the community in more ways than one! A member of the SaaSiest Executive Network for two consecutive years, she also took the stage as a speaker at SaaSiest 2025, sharing her knowledge with the wider community. From the big stage to smaller meetups, Kate has been sharing knowledge and connecting with fellow SaaS leaders across the community ⭐

We asked Kate a couple of personal questions; see her answers below:

🧩 Tell us something about yourself that we wouldn’t find on your LinkedIn profile

“I play a sport called Ultimate Frisbee and have done since I was in college. If you are unsure about what that is, I recommend you look it up! I have competed internationally for both Great Britain and Denmark and continue to train with a wonderful group of women on the beach once a week. – many of whom were part of the ultimate community that welcomed me with open arms when I first moved to Copenhagen. It is a sport with an amazing community around it and is also self-governed on the pitch – so you make the calls and figure it out between players.

It is also through this sport that I met my husband – so it is pretty special to me.”

💼 What’s the best part of your job?

“Being a leader at a SaaS company.

This might sound broad but my reasoning covers both elements.

Being a leader is something I really take seriously. It is not easy and can be super tough a lot of the time – but the kick back of being there for others, helping them shine, watching them develop is second to none for me. I have even learnt to smile now when employees “out grow” their role and move on – if I can sense I have contributed to them being able to try out new skills and work in areas where both they and the business where able to equally benefit.

The “SaaS” part is there as this is the area I have always worked in – from back when I was selling to companies who where not sure they had a website or not! Leading in SaaS only works if you collaborate and have good knowledge and understanding of the other departments. This bit I enjoy as it forces me to consider the other teams and not just stay in my bubble focused just on my part of the business.”

🤝 What does it mean for you to be part of the SaaSiest Community?

“It means I get to have a ready-made group of Customer Success leaders that I can meet and reach out to. People that are experiencing the same pains and successes as me – and are navigating the shifting trends of the CSM role in large and small organisations. I have a community of people that nod a long to my stories 🙂 and both challenge and inspire me.

The community also enables me to give back to young leaders and CS professionals and to women in SaaS. I like to attend events and be available to chat, mentor and share ideas whenever possible.”

Thanks, Kate, for being part of the SaaSiest Community 🩷
