This week’s SaaSiest Community member of the week is Daniel Hagenfeldt, CEO & Founder of Spintr. Daniel is a five-year veteran of the SaaSiest CEO Network, where he shares ideas and grows alongside fellow community members. He joined us for ALL SaaSiest Malmö events to date, and a few in Amsterdam as well – making him a true cornerstone of the SaaSiest community. Daniel, you’re awesome!
We asked Daniel a couple of personal questions; see his answers below:
🧩 Tell us something about yourself that we wouldn’t find on your LinkedIn profile
I used to run a music startup with Max Martin, Björn Ulvaeus, and Ash about ten years ago. It was pretty surreal, with board meetings at Martin’s place in Stockholm. I learned a lot about the industry, myself, and how important it is to meet the customer often to be able to build a great product.
💼 What’s the best part of your job?
My background is in building enterprise software that improves processes and solves messy problems, so the best part for me is the full loop: meeting and listening to customers, then shipping product that fix real day‑to‑day problems. The magic of SaaS is that once you crack a problem for one type of customer, you can help a lot of others with the same hiccups.
I’m a thinker at heart, a bit obsessed with the problem‑solving part and diving deep into new tech. We even built our own AI tech back in 2021, before it was a thing.
🤝 What does it mean for you to be part of the SaaSiest Community?
It means a lot, I love being around peers and seeing companies and people evolve. I try to join as many mastermind sessions as I can; I love throwing ideas around, high and low, and hopefully adding a few fresh perspectives to the group. Sometimes those perspectives might be a little too out there for Daniel and Thomas to moderate. 😊
