SaaSiest Amsterdam starter-pack: How to prepare like a pro

SaaSiest Amsterdam is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you to the SaaS event of the year! As you gear up for two days packed with insights, networking, and maybe even a few surprise moments, we’ve put together a starter-pack to help you make the most out of your experience.

Think of it as your survival guide—because let’s face it, navigating a sea of SaaS enthusiasts requires a little strategy (and a lot of coffee). Here are 8 practical tips to keep in mind:

1. Dress code: Disco-ball chic

We’re kidding—well, maybe! Wear whatever makes you feel your best, but if you happen to arrive with a disco-ball on your head, Thomas and Daniel might just crown you the star of the show. Just remember, Amsterdam in October likes to keep things unpredictable, so layering is your friend.

2. Set specific goals for the event

Before you arrive, take a few moments to set clear goals for what you want to achieve at SaaSiest. Whether it’s building new relationships, learning about a specific topic, or gathering insights for your next big GTM-strategy, having these objectives will help you stay focused and make the most of your time.

3. Plan your transportation and accommodation

Amsterdam can be busy, especially during major events. Ensure you have your transportation sorted, whether it’s using public transport, grabbing an Uber or embracing your inner dutchie by biking, make sure you’ve got your transportation figured out. Also, book your accommodation close to the venue to minimize travel stress.

Not sure where to look for a hotel? We gathered some options here for you:

4. Session strategy: The early bird catches the best seat

Our sessions are designed to be insightful, actionable, and maybe even a little mind-blowing. To get the most out of them, plan your schedule in advance. Pro tip: Arrive a few minutes early to grab a good seat and bring a notebook (or pad) to make sure you capture all the insights.

5. Networking moves

Connection is a huge part of SaaSiest, and we’ve made it super easy for you. One week before the event, we’ll be releasing our networking app, Brella. This tool will allow you to connect with other attendees and book 1-1 meetings ahead of time. Keep an eye on your inbox for the invite – this is your chance to schedule conversations before everyone else!

6. Side events: The Amsterdam SaaS week

SaaSiest Amsterdam is part of a broader celebration known as Amsterdam SaaS Week. Beyond our own epic event, there are side events galore. From Women of Product to CS Connect, DoIT & AWS, SDR Leaders of EMEA, and more—there’s something for everyone. If you’re feeling adventurous, why not crash a few? You never know what valuable connections or insights you might stumble upon. Check out the full schedule here.

8. Stay for the SaaSiest party on Oct 1
