This week’s SaaSiest Community Member of the week is Peter Sunna, Chief Product Officer at Kognic. You might recognize Peter from the SaaSiest 2023 main stage – where he shared the hard truth about PLG. But Peter has also been a big part of the SaaSiest community in other ways, such as being a member of the SaaSiest Executive Network for several years, where he regularly shares knowledge and learns together with his peers – a true SaaSiest star 🤩
We asked Peter a couple of personal questions; see his answers below:
🧩 Tell us something about yourself that we wouldn’t find on your LinkedIn profile
“After my football career came to an end, I made a serious attempt to become really good at disc golf. The “getting really good” part was a bit of a failure, but I did fall in love with the sport. It somehow reflects how I view life in general: relaxed, ego-free, and accessible to anyone. Plus, you get to spend time in nature without leaving a heavy footprint behind. By coincidence, we just spent our summer party with Kognic at Ale, the disc golf course ranked number one in the world. I’m just happy people there didn’t know how much disc golf I’ve actually played in my life, given my performance…”
💼 What’s the best part of your job?
“In my everyday work, I love the transition from chaos to clarity. There’s something deeply satisfying about taking a messy, unorganized challenge, breaking it down with the team, and turning it into a path forward where everyone sees the big picture.”
🤝 What does it mean for you to be part of the SaaSiest Community?
“For me, an important part is the relationships. SaaSiest has connected me with many like-minded people, where we can just sit down and have really good, honest chats. It’s a lot about getting moral support and energy, and sharing ideas with someone who understands your situation.”
