This week’s SaaSiest Community member of the week is Niklas Vergara, Senior Director, Head of Data & Operations at Dixa. Niklas is a two-year veteran in the SaaSiest Executive Network, as well as a seasoned SaaSiest event attendee, having visited SaaSiest in Malmö twice.
We asked Niklas a couple of personal questions so that you all can get to know him.
🧩 Tell us something about yourself that we wouldn’t find on your LinkedIn profile
I’m a happy (and busy) dad of three small kids – including twin boys who look so much alike that even I sometimes need to focus for a second to tell them apart 😅. Luckily, working in DataOps is the perfect training for balancing several plates at once. And with being quite energetic by nature, I really can’t complain at all 🎉
💼 What’s the best part of your job?
Working in DataOps gives me the opportunity to collaborate with almost every team in the business, which keeps things diverse and engaging. I also really enjoy turning complex data, insights, and analyses into something clear and actionable – something that helps the business make data-driven decisions. Seeing those insights turn into real and impactful outcomes is a great motivation to me.
🤝 What does it mean for you to be part of the SaaSiest Community?
It’s a great way to connect with highly skilled people who work in similar areas and face many of the same challenges and successes that come with leading DataOps teams (RevOps, GroupOps, etc.). The exchange of experiences, ideas, and real business cases is both inspiring and valuable. And of course, the SaaSiest events are always a highlight – a perfect mix of knowledge sharing and great community spirit 🔥
